Real Sporting de Gijon has received the new direction of its youth academy with optimism, which seeks to strengthen the connection with the entities of the territory and generate a sense of belonging among the players. The director of Sports Management, Israel Villaseor, and the director of Youth Football Acquisition, Emilio Gutirrez, have held meetings with local and regional clubs to present their work plan. The goal is to share the work methodology and establish a regular exchange of good practices. The Sporting has signed collaboration agreements with CD Los Campos and Gimnstica de Torrelavega, which will have a validity of three seasons. These agreements reflect the intention of the Mareo management to not limit itself to the immediate environment and to weave ties with entities of different profiles and territories.
